_ if the name Matrix popped in your head as you were reading this sentence than you should pat yourself in the back because you are right.
Few people fail to recognize this incredible little short dialog , which i believe to be wonderful and almost mysterious because out of millions of other movies and millions of great movie scripts I often wonder why these few words should stand out in most minds with such vivid intensity.
Of course, you have all the visual experience behind the words that are spoken in the movie and The Matrix is surely a movie with a very rich, original and vivid cinematographic graphics and plot.
Still, i believe that those words had some sort of magic attached to them, you probably felt some sort of familiarity and empathy in the little speech that Morpheus was giving to Neo.
I think that to this day Lawrence Fishburne will always feel proud looking back at this film and remembering that dialog.
However it´s not about The Matrix that i wanted to focus on but on another movie that Mr. Burne´s also gave a not so short but in my humble opinion a magnificent speech and magnificent display of great acting.
It´s a striking theatrical performance not in a duo like in the matrix dialog between Lawrence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves but in a trio where Lawrence Fishburne plays the part of a Hotel Chef a.k.a . Cook and is having a talk with a few other Hotel employees ( Jacob Vargas as Miguel and Freddy Rodriguez as José Rojas ) that also helped in the magic of this great dialog.
So if i was impressed with the all popping red and blue pills (this always makes me think about viagra LOL) and waking up to a new reality dialog, let me tell you that the following performance blew my mind away.
So, if you´ve never seen this movie I highly recommend that you do.
Meanwhile I pray that you, me, everyone, may find that necessary balance that will bring us closer to each other as brothers and not as stereotypes, because in the end “WE ARE ALL EQUAL”.
